Symposium Description

The symposium is hosted by the Panathenian Dancers of Tucson, Arizona under the direction of Father Dimitrios Pappas. It will be a weekend of Greek Folk Dancing performance workshops and fun.

The symposium 2006 will feature Kyriakos Moisidis and Kostas Mitsis from Greece. They will share their knowledge in dances from Anatoliki Romilia, Pontos, and Epiros, specifically featuring the Boyaliki, Ak Dag Maten, Syrrako, Metsovo, and Preveza areas.
